Jill Richards Lang, 79, passed away peacefully in her home with her husband of over 60 years by her side on Monday September 11, 2023. She was born on November 20, 1943 in El Campo, TX to John "Red" and Fanell Barrier Richards of Palacios, TX.

Jill grew up in Palacios and graduated from Palacios High School in 1962 then attended Stevenson Beauty School in Corpus Christi, TX. She and Arthur "Dickie" Lang got married in December of 1962. They moved to Austin, TX where she worked in the Texas State Capitol building and later started their family. They moved back to Palacios in 1976 to raise their family and have been in Palacios ever since. She grew up as a member in the First Baptist Church of Palacios and continued being active for many years after returning in 1976. She loved music, playing piano, and sharing her love of music with her kids and grandkids. She also loved crafting, shopping, cooking, and entertaining friends and family.

Jill is survived by her husband Arthur, son Zach (and Vicki) Lang of Brentwood, TN and their children Maddy, Max, and Mason; son Zeb (and Kim) Lang of Austin, TX and their children Claire and Jackson; sister Lynn (and Lester) Wallace of Bay City, TX; brother Jack (and Sharion) Richards of Friendswood, TX, and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

Visitation will be Friday, September 15, 2023 from 5-7 pm at Palacios Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Palacios Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Palacios Cemetery
