Jesusa Rivera, 81, of Bay City died February 13, 2008. She was born October 23, 1926 in Yorktown, TX to the late Severino and Eduarda Gonzales Orozco. She was a longtime resident of Bay City and a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Manuel Rivera, Sr. and son Manuel Rivera Jr. Survivors include daughters Beatriz Garay of Bay City and Eva Jesusa Garay of Texas City; son Rudy Rocha of Cuero; 17 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren and 25 great-great grandchildren.

A rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM Fri., Feb. 15, 2008 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Mass will be 10:00 AM Sat., Feb 16, 2008 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Rev. Gerry Cernoch officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Daniel Rivera, Jr., Luis Ballesteros, Jose Gonzalez, Vince Cortez, Joe Marroquin & Joel Marroquin.
