Jesus Silvas, 82, of Bay City passed away September 9, 2023.  He was born June 26, 1941 in Bay City.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Adela Guzman; stepfather, Pedro Guzman Sr; grandmother, Manuela Silvas; and 2 brothers, Pete Gusman Jr and Pedro Gusman.

Survivors include sisters Maria Jeremiah, Amy Garcia, Adelaide Ramirez, Lola Gamez and Manuela Vega, his brother Faustino Montalvo and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A rosary will be recited at 9:30 AM Friday, September 15, 2023 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.  Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM with Rev. Gabriel Espinosa officiating.  Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.  Pallbearers will be Alfred D. Aivles, Nicholas Aivles, Gus Garcia, Randy Garcia, Frankie Gamez, and Arthur Guzman.
