Jesús Sustaita Castañeda nació en la comunidad de San Elías, municipio de Dolores Hidalgo, Guanajuato, el 17 de junio del 1966 y falleció en la ciudad de Bay City Texas el 14 de septiembre del 2021. Hijo de Felipe Sustaita y Natalia Castañeda.

Fue un hombre dedicado a lo que hacia, querido y respetado por mucha gente, que uno de sus hobbies era pasar su tiempo al aire libre, viajar, muy amoroso con su familia y amigos, le gustaba ayudar a la gente, nunca se olvido de su origen y siempre mantuvo la humildad, educación y respeto hacia las demás personas. Por siempre estará en nuestros corazones.

En la muerte le precedieron a su padre Felipe Sustaita y su hermana Asunción Sustaita. Le sobreviven su madre Natalia Castañeda, esposa Maria Antonia Sustaita e hijos, Jesús Rubio Sustaita, Daniel Rubio Sustaita, Maria de la luz Rubio Sustaita y Rafael Sustaita. Ademas de hermanas y hermanos.

La familia recibe amigos y familiares para la ceremonia de difusión el lunes 20 de septiembre del 2021 a partir de las 9:00 a.m. en la iglesia de nuestra Señora de Guadalupe, en la ciudad de Bay City Texas, la ceremonia de sepultura se llevará acabo en el cementerio de San Pedro en la ciudad de Blessing, Texas, a partir de las 10:00 a.m. oficiado por el cura Gabriel Espinosa.

Jesus Castaneda Sustaita, 55, of Blessing, Texas, passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2021 in Bay City. He was born June 17, 1966 in Dolores Hidalgo, Guanajuato to Felipe Castaneda Sustaita and Natalia Castaneda Sustaita.

Jesus was a very devoted father and was loved by many. In his spare time, he loved being outdoors, spending time with family and friends, and working on anything he could get his hands on. His hard work and dedication led him to not only be able to help others, but to also fulfill his lifelong goal of living the "American Dream." Jesus not only achieved his vision, but he was able to exceed his expectations. If Jesus was not found working, he was on his way to an adventure. His passion for traveling led him to France, various cruises, and long drives through multiple states within the United States. However, his favorite travel was always to Mexico to be with his parents and siblings. He will be deeply missed by all of his friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Felipe Castaneda Sustaita; and sister Asunción Sustaita. Jesus is survived by his mother, Natalia Castaneda Sustaita; loving wife, Maria Antonia Sustaita; children, Jesus Rubio Sustaita, Daniel Rubio Sustaita, Maria De La Luz Rubio Sustaita, and Rafael Sustaita. He is also survived by his four sisters and five brothers.

The family will receive friends and relatives for visitation at 9:00am Monday, September 20, 2021 with the Holy Rosary at 9:30am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Bay City. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00am with Father Gabriel Espinosa officiating.  Pallbearers are Darío Zustaita, Jose Zustaita, Joel Sustaita,  Geronimo Luna Sustaita , Daniel Sustaita  and Rafael Sustaita.
