Jessie Wright, passé away on Sunday, January 13, 2013. Jessie was born on March 5, 1925 in Palacios, Texas to the late Richard Jefferson and Bertha Berticheger Tweedle. She was a dedicated member of the Ladies Auxiliary Post 2438 for 40 years. She was district 16 popy chairman of the Ladies Auxiliary of Texas district 16. She was a loving grandmother. Jessie was a member of Bay City Baptist Church. She is survived by her family ; daughter, Linda Sullivan of Alvin, Texas, son, James Wright of Bay City; 5 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren and numerous other loving relatives. Preceded in death by parents, husband, and 9 brothers and sisters. Funeral service 2:00P.M. Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Cedarvale Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations to church of your choice.
