Rev. Jesse T. Jones, 77, of Palacios passed away June 26, 2008. He was born November 22, 1930 in Old Gulf, TX to the late Moses Dewitt & Mary Victoria Ham Jones. He had been a resident of Palacios for 35 years where he pastored at the United Pentecostal Church of Palacios.

Survivors include his wife Shirley Ann Jones of Palacios; daughters Tannamia Lorraine Hall & husband Tim of Travelers Rest, SC, Karan Yukiko Jones of Pearland, TX & Dawn Yanalynn Ringo & husband Robert of League City, TX; sister Ruby "Judy" Sutton of Palacios, TX; by his grandchildren: Kimberly Allerkamp & husband Simon, Billy Saxon, III, Mellani Hill & husband James, and Ryan Saxon; and by one great grandchild: Angelina Denae Malone.

The family will receive visitors from 6 PM to 8 PM Monday, at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, July 1, 2008 at the Apostolic Pentecostal Church in Bay City with Rev. Marvin Cole & Rev. C. M. Becton officiating. Interment will follow at Hawley Cemetery in Blessing.
