Obituary

Jeremiah Jay Guerrero, 42, of Palacios, went to be with the Lord on March 21, 2018. He was born in Palacios on March 3, 1976 to Lydia Guerrero and Gerardo Guerrero.

Jeremiah, commonly known as Jay, received and taught himself how to play his first guitar at a very young age. He fell in love with music, mostly classic rock, and enjoyed song writing as well. He loved jamming with his friends, Courtney, Eric, and Lupe. He ran The Guitar Academy where he taught guitar to children of all ages. He spent most of his time helping others and giving back. He wanted to use his God given talent by praising the Lord through music. He became the music minister of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church and inspired so many others to use their talents as well. When he wasn't playing or teaching music, he loved watching movies of all kinds. His favorites include the Star Wars Collection, the Police Academy series, and the Big Lebowski. His hobbies also included spending time with his family and friends, cheering on the Green Bay Packers, playing video games, riding his moped around town, and hanging out with his beloved poodle, Bastian. Everyone that knew Jay loved him. He was truly one of a kind. He was a very loving soul and treated everyone like family. He never knew a stranger, and always had the biggest smile from ear to ear.

Jay is survived by the love of his life, wife, Gina Pardo Guerrero; his daughter Mashelle Seaman and husband, Noah; his brother Jason Guerrero and wife Salina; his sisters Krystina Guerrero Vasquez and husband Rudy Vasquez, and Kelsey Guerrero; his brother in law, Anthony Pardo and wife Emilia, Eric Pardo and wife Laura, his mother Lydia Morales Guerrero; father Gerardo Guerrero and wife Maria Salinas; Father In law Tony Pardo, and wife Terry.
