Javier Eduardo Cruz, 39, of Bay City, Texas, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2022. He was born on December 29, 1982 in Elizabeth, New Jersey to Carmen Chajon and Gilardo Javier Cruz.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Carmen Cruz. Survivors include his father, Gilardo Javier Cruz; brother, Noel Resto & wife Lilly O. Resto; nieces and nephews, Unique Resto, Noel Resto III, Carmen Resto, Brianna Cavazos, and Jayden Resto; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family will receive friends and relatives for visitation at 9:00am Saturday, June 4, 2022 at Northside Chapel in Bay City, Texas. Funeral Services will begin at 10:00am with Pastor Tommy Griffin officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery in Bay City.  Pallbearers will be Noel Resto III, Luis Aragon, Raymond Aragon, Willy Aragon, Bryan Arguello and Clarence Parks.  Jayden J. Resto will serve as honorary pallbearer.
