Jared James Thomas Aplin, 25, of Bay City passed away January 24, 2023.  He was born December 16, 1997 in Galveston, Texas.

Jared was very kind hearted and caring young man. He truly loved his family with all of his heart. Jared will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his wife Kayla Rodriguez; daughters Khalani Aplin and Jania Lynn Aplin; son Eric Jayasi; parents Kathy and Michael Martinez; maternal grandmother Judy Wernly; mother-in-law and father-in-law Mary and Eddie Rodriguez; sister Cassie Aplin and brother Dakota Aplin, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather William Thomas Wernly and by his aunt Shrinda Love Annie Wernly.

A celebration of his life will be announced at a later date.
