It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Jared James Goss, 48, on June 30, 2025

Born in Bay City, Texas in 1977, Jared lived a life full of energy, laughter, and unforgettable presence.

Charismatic and full of life, Jared had a personality that lit up every room he entered.  He had a natural gift for making people laugh and a magnetic way of bringing others together. Whether through his quick wit, big smile, or boundless stories, he made every moment feel larger than his 6'7" frame.

He was preceded in death by his beloved father and mother Robert and Paula Goss of Bay City, Texas.

Jared is survived by his son Jackson, the center of his world, who brought him immense pride and joy.

He is also survived by his brothers, Jason Goss (Cynthia) and Jonathan Goss (Deanna) who will forever cherish memories of their shared childhood with their younger brother.

Jared's sudden departure has left a void that can never be filled but his spirit, laughter, and love will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.  His faith in Jesus Christ was evidenced by a life that sought to find joy in the moment, to laugh often, and to love fiercely.

A celebration of Jared's life will be held on July 26, 2025, 10:00 AM at Calvary Baptist Church, 3321 6th Street, Bay City, TX 77414.  All who knew and loved him are welcome to attend and honor the remarkable man he was.
