Janice Elaine Brown, 78, of Bay City passed away December 26, 2022.  She was born August 9, 1944 in Fort Worth, TX to the late Asa John Short and Alice Joy Johnson Short.

Jan taught French and English at Bay City High School for 35 years and positively impacted the lives of many students.

Survivors include her son Alexander Nicholas Brown and her brother Jimmy John Short.

No services are planned at this time, but a memorial service will be held in Fort Worth, Texas at a later date.
