James Robert Wilson, Sr., 79 of Palacios, passed away Friday, November 11, 2005. He was born March 28, 1929 in Calvert, TX to Theodore William Wilson and Naoma McNeally Wilson. He was a long time resident of Palacios and Victorian. He retired as Chief of Police of the City of Palacios Police Dept. and was a member of the Nazarene Church.

He is survived by his wife: Alma Jo Tippett Wilson of Palacios; by his daughters: Pam Seaman & husband Garry of Palacios and Ruth Dody and husband Ray of Austin; by his brothers: Tom and Eugene Wilson of Victoria; and by 3 grandchildren: James Seaman, Garry Seaman, Jr. and Michelle Janise Atkinson. He was preceded in death by his parents: Theodore W. & Naoma Wilson; and by his son: James Robert Wilson, Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, November 14, 2005 at the Palacios Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at the Palacios Cemetery. Arrangements are with Palacios Funeral Home, Palacios, TX (361) 972-2012.
