James "Jim Bob" Taylor passed away on Thursday, Nov. 19th. Jim Bob was born on June 3, 1937 in Start, Louisiana to the late Walter and Oreta McDonald Taylor.

Jim Bob was a loving husband, father and brother. He loved to hunt, fish, barbeque and garden. Jim Bob proudly served his country in the Air Force.

Jim Bob is survived by his wife of 49 years Mary Miguez Taylor; son Ronnie Miguez and wife Dee; sister Marlene Redding; sister-in-law Alice Poth; nephews Ted Poth & wife Sheri and Danny Redding; nieces Audra Spann & husband Noel, Brenda Raney & husband Lee, Tammy Barringer & husband Don and numerous other nieces, nephews and other loving family members and many friends.

Funeral services will be 10: 00 A.M. Tuesday at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Bro. Ben Kerns officiating. . Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck. Pallbearers are Patrick Sims, Jody Simmons, Brian Smith, Richard Westberry, Mike Foeh, Fisher Carlton, and Hunter Lehrman; honorary pallbearers are Austin Spann, Colby Spann, Buddy Simmons and Raymond Cortez. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Calvary Church in Sargent, Texas.
