James Otis Sandefur, 94, of Bay City passed away March 15, 2010. He was born February 4, 1916 in Davidson, Oklahoma to the late Joseph Thomas Sandefur & Lee Nora Green Sandefur. He served his country in the US Navy during WWII, was a member of the First Baptist Church in Blessing and worked as a Barber for many years.

Survivors include sons James Sidney Sandefur, Dexter Robert Sandefur and Dean Kirk Sandefur. James was preceded in death by his parents; wife Charlotte Hubble Sandefur in 1999, and 5 siblings: Dexter Onnie Sandefur, Silvia D. Sandefur, Vivian C. Sandefur, Enza J. Sandefur, and Delphi W. Sandefur.

Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Thursday, March 18, 2010 at Hawley Cemetery in Blessing with Rev. Zach Nicholson officiating.
