James Douglas Larson, 60, of Bay City, Texas went to be with his Lord and Savior Sunday, May 31, 2020. He was born July 15, 1959 in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin to the late Glenn Roger Larson and Gerurand Alouisa Rom Larson.
James is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife, Rose Larson, his three daughters Rylee Larson, Rachelle Larson, and Anne-Marie and her husband Brandon Earl (Greensboro, NC), his granddaughter Clementine Earl (Greensboro, NC), his grandson Holden Earl (Greensboro, NC), his brother David and his wife Kathy Larson (Nipomo, CA), his two nieces Kristal Sawyers (Fort Polk, LA), and Candice Weiss (Portland, OR).
James worked as a supervisor at South Texas Project Nuclear Plant for 26 years. He enjoyed traveling to see family all over the nation, taking motorcycle rides, rooting on the Green Bay Packers, and helping anyone he came across.
Those attending the Funeral Service must wear a face mask while inside the church building.
Services will be held on Friday, June 5, 2020 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Fr. Gabriel Espinosa officiating. A Rosary will be recited at 9:30am followed by Mass at 10:00am. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery. Pallbearers for Mr. Larson will be David Larson, Jim Anderson, Benigno Alfaro, Julio Alfaro, Leobardo Alfaro, Hector Alfaro, BJ Maldonado, JJ Maldonado, and CJ Maldonado.
