James William Reue, Sr. (Bubba) passed away February 25, 2022. He was born February 6, 1937 in Ganado, TX to the late Johnny Reue and Leona Girndt Reue.

He retired from Celanese Chemical Company after 31 years of dedicated service as a machinist.  James was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church and an active member at the Bay City Knights of Columbus. He loved God, he fiercely loved his family, and was an avid hunter.  His world-famous sausage making skills and brisket BBQing expertise will be missed by all.  He loved playing golf with his friends and family at the beautiful Celanese golf club.

James is preceded in death by his parents; siblings Wyona Reue Mizell, Louis Reue and Ben Reue. He is survived by his wife Albina (Abby) Ibrom Reue; children Connie Reue Helus, Richard Helus, James W. Reue, Jr., and Amber Spoonts Reue; and grandchildren Christee Helus, Colby Helus, Cliff Helus, Christopher Helus, Cade Reue and Camille Reue.
