IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jack Allen
Ellis
March 19, 1937 – July 15, 2025
Jack Allen Ellis, 88, of Bay City passed away July 15, 2025. He was born March 19, 1937 in Bay City to the late Ernest A. Ellis and Mamie Henderson Ellis.
Jack was one of a kind. He was an avid Nascar fan and golfer for many years. He enjoyed fishing as well. He loved his friends and family BIG! He had the biggest heart and wanted everyone to be "Happy." This is why we're asking attendees to wear yellow (he loved yellow because it's a happy color) or a color that makes you feel happy.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Daniel Ellis and sisters Mary Medlin, Betty Yarborough and Lanora Janak.
Survivors include sons Dennis Ellis (Mikki) and Johnny Wells (Wendy); daughter Amanda Briden (Ken); his dear friend Tonya Ellis; sisters Ida Curnutte and Kathy Anderle; grandsons Daniel Ellis and Matthew Ellis and great grandson Nolan Ellis. He also leaves behind his beloved pup, ChiChi "Hoogie".
Visitation will begin at 1P.M. Monday, July 21, 2025 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 2 P.M. with Rev. Lane Par-Due officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Fred Silva, Patrick Anderle, Ronnie Best, Ken Briden, Ricky Janak and Brentley Pursley. Joe Jurek, William Popek, Wade Calk, and Deb Moon will serve as honorary pallbearers.
