Isaac Sosa, 80, of Bay City, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2006. He was born February 7, 1926 in Edna, TX to Juan Sosa and Adela Medrano Sosa. He was a member of the Pentecostal church and a resident of Matagorda County for the past 20 years.

He is survived by his daughters: Amelia Sosa, Blanca Sosa, and Sandra Garcia, all of Bay City, Leticia Sosa, Eva Nieto, and Maria Elena Sosa, of Matamoros, Mexico; his sons: Paul Sosa and Javier Sosa of Bay City and Arturo Sosa of Matamoros, Mexico; by one brother: Moses Sosa of Houston; and by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife: Amelia Sosa; by his parents: Juan & Adela M. Sosa; and by numerous brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 17, 2006 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Hill Winfrey officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck.
