IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Irma Ortiz
Lenz
March 2, 1960 – May 6, 2023
Irma Ortiz Lenz, 63, of Deer Park, Texas passed away May 6, 2023, surrounded by her family. She was born March 2, 1960, in Ganado, Texas and moved shortly after to Palacios, Texas.
Irma wore many hats in her sweet life. She was a daughter, a wife, a sister, a mother, an aunt, a friend, a co-worker, but above all else, she was a proud Mimi. She loved life and celebrated it daily. She cherished spending time with all her family. If not watching westerns with her husband Donnie, Irma enjoyed being outside gardening, planting flowers, spending the day by the pool, and being at the river with family. She was always planning the next vacation to somewhere that she could be with her family, outside in the sun, and near water. She loved music and would sing and dance, no matter what the occasion was. Irma was so giving to all that came into her life. She would give anyone anything if she thought it would bring them happiness. Irma was a strong, proud, hard-working, and fearless woman that was not scared to say or do what needed to be done. She had the most amazing smile that would light up a room and just comfort you. Irma was such a beautiful woman and a unique soul that defined the word FAMILY!
She was preceded in death by her father Cirilo Ortiz, her mother Lucy Horta Quintanilla and her grandson Liam Lenz.
Survivors include her husband, Donnie Lenz; stepfather Manuel Quintanilla; sons Adrian Flores, Jeremy Flores (Mary Lynn), Ryan Lenz (Stacy) and Cody Lenz (Alexis); sisters Maria Ottino (Carlos), Elizabeth Hooper (Mike), Gracie Trevino (Steven) and Alma Tapia (Jose); brothers Joe Pena, David Pena (Ninfa), Ruben Quintanilla and Rick Cink and grandchildren Kirsten Lenz, Rex Lenz, Cash Flores, Cecily Flores, and Luke Lenz.
