Obituary
Irene Stidham, 96, of Palacios, passed away June 27, 2015. She was born May 16, 1919, in Pickton, Hopkins County, Texas to the late John Sumner Holley and Ida Valera Liner. She worked for many years at the Employer's Casualty Company in both Dallas and Houston.
Her husband, Hershal Henry Stidham, son, Robert Lee Stidham, and siblings, Myrtie, Gordon ( "Peanut"), Dorothy ("Dot"), and Ruth all preceded her in death. She is survived by her nieces Carol Ochas and husband John, Gwynn Steward and husband Sam, and Frances Jennery and husband John.
The family will receive friends and relatives from 5pm to 7pm Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at Palacios Funeral home. Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Thursday, July 2, at Palacios Funeral Home with Rev. Lane Pardue officiating. Interment will follow at Palacios Cemetery.
