Ima Jene Wilson Polensky, 85, of El Campo passed away July 8, 2008. She was born August 21, 1922 in Commerce, Texas to the late Homer & Josie Lena Nabers. She was a member of Memorial Baptist Church in El Campo; member of the Bay City Art League; and former member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed painting many beautiful pictures as her hobby.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Joe "Pop" Wilson, daughter Betty J. Smithey, and brother Tracy Nabers. Survivors include her present husband Lawrence Polensky of El Campo; step-son Russell Polensky of Arizona; grandson Ray & Sherry Smithey of Bay City; great granddaughter Nikki Smithey of Bay City and brother J. L. Nabors of Sulphur Springs, TX.

Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Friday, July 11, 2008 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Chapel with Rev. Bob Hobbins officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, July 11, 2008 at the Memorial Baptist Church in El Campo.
