Howard Lonnie "Skipper" Carroll Jr., 70, of Bay City passed away Friday, August 17, 2012. He was born March 26, 1942 in Bay City Texas to the late Lilla Hammock & Howard Lonnie Carroll Sr. Skipper was a life long resident of Bay City, served his Country as a member of the Air Force, served Matagorda County as a Deputy Constable, and he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

His daughter Mandy Coker and her husband Dave of Houston, Texas, his son Reagan Carroll and his wife Yorinda and daughter Amanda of The Woodlands, Texas and his son Ronnie Carroll and wife Natalie and their son Jeffrey of Bay City, Texas, and his sister Barbara Thornton of Brazoria survive him. Many wonderful and loving nieces and nephews also survive him. Skipper was preceded in death by his parents, and his loving wife of 49 years Lynda Jane Carroll in July.

A graveside service will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at Cedarvale Cemetery.
