Horace Glenn McMillan died on February 26th, having achieved  the age of 101 years and three months. Horace was born on November 13,1923 to the late John E. McMillan and Maggie Terry Collier McMillan in Parkdale, Arkansas.

Horace joined the Navy after Pearl Harbor and remained in the Navy until the end of WWII.  He served in the Pacific Theater as a Radioman.

Horace answered God's call to ministry, and was ordained a pastor in 1953, in the Texas Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church.  He served numerous churches in the Texas Annual Conference before his retirement in 1990.

Horace was married to the love of his life, Lila Fay, for 65 years and had three wonderful children.

Horace was preceded in death by his wife Lila Fay and daughter Sally Lou. He is survived by two sons, James McMillan and wife Sharon, and Ernest McMillan and wife Shari. Grandchildren: Mary Elizabeth, Christopher, Stephanie, Rachel, April, Joshua, Michael, Ryan, and numerous great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 1:00 p.m.  Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m.  Entombment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Methodist Children's Home in Waco.
