Hope A. Flores, 71, of Bay City passed away November 16, 2011. She was born December 15, 1939 in Brownsville, TX to the late Delores Arias and Apolinar Rocha Arias. She worked at Peoples Laundry in Bay City for a number of years.

Survivors include husband, Johnny Flores of Bay City; son Jesse D. Sanchez of Bay City; sister Ophelia Escobar of Bay City; 8 grandchildren and 16 nieces and nephews. Her brothers Robert Arias and Jesse Gomez preceded her in death.

A rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM Friday at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Mass will be 10:00 AM Saturday, November 19, 2011 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Rev. Gerry Cernoch officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck. Pallbearers will be Angel Zboral, Fabian Ramirez, Robert Arias, Jr., Ricky Zarate, Ruben Escobar, Jr., Joe John Yanez, Jr., Jonathan Yanez, Sr. & Fabian Gallegos. Honorary pallbearers will be Sammy Flores, Jr., Abraham Flores, Alfred Buckley & Roland Zarate.
