IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Henry Lopez
Perez
July 15, 1928 – June 8, 2022
Henry Lopez Perez, 93, of Palacios passed away June 8, 2022. He was born on July 15, 1928 in Olivia, TX. to the late Ascencion and Anasticia Lopez Perez.
Henry met the love of his life, Trinidad, at a carnival in Palacios. They moved to Kemah and later to Houston where they made their home with their family. He worked in construction for 36 years with Marshall Construction where he retired in 1992. They moved back to Palacios after his retirement. He was a loving husband and father and good provider for his family. He loved riding around the blocks in his car and truck. He loved going to Dairy Queen to eat his chicken strip "dinner" with extra toast and extra gravy. He loved sitting on his front porch watching the cars pass by, watching his oldies but goodies Western movies and can't forget his Sabado Gigante. He made it a point to never miss a day to visit his wife's grave at the cemetery.
He is survived by daughters, Janie Samora (Raymond) of Palacios, Mona Ortiz (Jose) of Palacios, son Henry Perez Jr. (Ruth) of Houston, stepdaughters Mona Garcia of Palacios and Penny McCleskey of New Caney; brother Valentine Perez (Linda) of Bay City; fifteen grandchildren, forty-seven great grandchildren and thirteen great-great grandchildren.
