Henry Paul Katzer, 71, of Bay City passed away October 14, 2007. He was born September 21, 1936 in Cuero, Texas to the late Alvin Hugo and Gertrude F. Hahn Katzer. He was a member of the Catholic Church and a retired appliance repairman for Sears.

He is survived by his wife, Anita Fay Katzer of Bay City; daughters Anita Yarbourgh of Bay City; Pam Falks & husband Don of Bay City; Cheri Ainsworth & husband Billy of Baytown; and Lori Katzer & Joe Dement, Jr. of Bay City; special mother-in-law Rosie Jurek of Bay City; sisters Clara Moon & husband T. J. of New Braunfels; and Barbara Calloway & Mary Ann Mildfeldt both of Bay City; eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 6PM to 8PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Chapel with Rev. Casey Jarzombek officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Aaron Falks, Brandon Ainsworth, Joel Robinson, Kyle Long, Randy Jurek and Tom Peterson. Honorary pallbearers will be Donald Jurek, Joe Jurek, Pat Jurek and Joe Dement, Jr.
