Henry Richard Day, 83, of Blessing , passed away June 6, 2018. He was born November 12, 1934 in Bay City to Ed and Sophie Schmidt Day.

Henry served his country in the US Army in Korea. He was an avid golfer, and was an Oilfield Gauger for 59 years.

Henry is preceded in death by his parents; sister Edna Mikus, and brothers Fred Day and David Day. He is survived by his wife Elaine Rickaway Day; daughter Lisa Remmy, son-in-law Michael Remmy and granddaughter Savannah Remmy.

The family will receive friends and relatives 5:00pm-7:00pm Thursday, June 7 at the funeral home. Services are 2:00pm Friday, June 8, 2018 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Lee Rickaway officiating. Interment will follow at Hawley Cemetery. Pallbearers are Kevin Rickaway, Chris Rickaway, Randy Rickaway, Cole Rickaway, Greg Bagby and Robert Benavides.
