Heath James, 43, of Bay City passed away September 27, 2015 peacefully in his sleep at home after a courageous battle with brain cancer. With his devoted wife Kimberly (baby) and his loving family and friends at his bed side.

Heath was born February 11, 1972 in Grand Junction Colorado to Fern Noy and Terrence James. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and chef. He also loved music and the outdoors. He was bold, adventurous, compassionate, and had a great sense of humor. Heath loved to laugh. He cherished time spent with his family and friends. Heath will be severely missed by all the hearts he touched. He will never be forgotten.

Survivors include wife & soul mate: Kimberly (Tays) James of New Brunswick Canada; parents: Fern and Joe Harriman of Winnie TX and Terrence and Laural James of Washington state; grandparents: Glen and Eunice Harriman of Florida; adored sister: Jamie and her husband James Broin; the most amazing niece in the world: Amara Broin; and devoted mother-in-law: Brenda Tays of New Brunswick Canada.

The family expresses heartfelt appreciation to the staff of MD Anderson including Dr. Yung, Dr. Weathers, Dr. Heimberger, Tamu, and Pegg. Special caregiver Patrice Bell. Special appreciation also to the many friends and family that supported Heath through his journey.

A Memorial Service will be held 3:00 PM Saturday October 3, 2015 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home, 2313 Avenue I, Bay City TX 77414.
