Hazel Lowery Conner of Bay City, Texas passed away March 25, 2020 from Alzheimer's.  She was born in Halifax County, VA on April 30, 1942 and was 77 years of age. She was the daughter of the late Herbert G. Lowery and the late Melissa Conner Lowery.

She is survived by her husband William (Billy) Carl Conner Sr.; children, Sharon Conner Wilson, Mitzi Dawn Conner, and William Carl Conner Jr. all of Bay City, Texas; grandchildren, Tina Wilson Frausto, Roy Wilson (Carrie), Krystale Wilson; great-grandchildren, Samantha Pena, Pablo Frausto III, Blake Frausto, Miguel Santes Jr., Kiera Huerta, Mario Huerta Jr. and Octavian Wilson; brothers, Wallace S. Lowery, and Danny M Lowery (Lori) both from Alton ,VA.; sisters, Sandra L. Blanks (Jimmy) from Roxboro NC  and Kathryn L. McDowell (Forrest) from South Boston VA. Hazel is preceded in death by her siblings, Alvin F. Lowery, Virginia L. Jones Abel and Brenda L. Gravitt.
