Hazel Mae Andrews-Gola, 90, of Bay City, went to be with her Lord and Savior in her home on Monday, January 23, 2012. She was born on January 10, 1922 in Matagorda County to the late Larkin & Myrtle Mullins Brumley. Hazel loved her Lord, and faithfully attended church as her health permitted. She served as a Teacher of Sunday School Classes, and was an avid prayer warrior.

Hazel was married for 38 years to Andy Andrews, until his death, later she married Charlie Gola. They were happily married for 7 years before his death. Her younger sister Faye Hadley of Alabama survives her.

The family will receive visitors from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at the Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 3:00 PM Thursday, January 26, 2012 at the Family Worship Center of Bay City, 2717 9th St., with Rev. Jimmie Guerrero officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery.
