Harvey Alan Howard, 74, of Sargent, TX. He passed away December 10, 2025.  He was born April 26, 1951 in Houston, TX.

In his younger years he was a surfer, he gave up the surfboard for a horse, a tractor and to live the country life and watch his family grow. He enjoyed being retired, he loved to hunt, fish, ride the backroads and teach his grandkids some of the finer things in life.

Howard was preceded in death by his parents Louis Howard and Betty Howard Sengelman, his brother Tommy Lee Howard and nephew, Andrew (Drew) Howard. He is survived by his loving wife Elizabeth Howard; his children Jacob (Jennifer), Desiree (Carl), Jennifer Marie (Raye), Forrest, and Shana (Josh).; grandchildren, Hailee, Kaleb, Nathan, Montana, Kyle, Ethan, Jessalyn, Braden, Noah, Cole, Joseph, Kennedy, Henlee, Jaxson, Paisley, Koen and Baby Everly and great grandchildren Kathryn, Dheigo, Isabella, Kip and Elani. His siblings, Louis (Donna), Donna Sue (Tom), Kenny (Susan), sister n law, Cherri Howard, Scott (Julie) Traci (Scotty), and David Forbes. And numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Thursday, December 18, 2025 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home.  Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM Friday, December 19, 2025 at the Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038.
