Harold Norman Tolson, 65, of Van Vleck, TX, passed away Friday, August 19, 2005 in Houston, TX. He was born April 17, 1940 in Niagara Falls, NY to Norman Tolson and Brenda Marie Neal Tolson. He was a resident of Matagorda County since 1974, a US Navy veteran and was a retired farm implement salesman.

He is survived by his wife: Wanda Tolson of Van Vleck; his sons: Darrell Tolson & wife Melissa of Bay City, Gale Tolson of Jonestown and Kyle Tolson of Van Vleck; his sister: Mary Linda Scott & husband Jesse of San Antonio; sister-in-law: Anna Tolson of Denton; his grandchildren: Amanda Benner, Ashley, Ethen, Trent, A.J., Kevin, and Anna Tolson; by 1 great grandchild; and by numerous foster children. His parents, Norman & Brenda Tolson and his brother Ronald Tolson preceded him in death.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, August 23, 2005 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Rev. LeRoy Cunningham, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck. Pallbearers will be Charles Boren, Richard Anderson, Mike Stone, Billy Mayfield, Rick Zarate, and Mikeal McCloskey.
