Harold Robert Lusby, 64, of Bay City, was born September 20, 1942 in Hamilton, OH to John & Georgia Allen. He was adopted by James Samuel Lusby and Olive Emmett Gayle Lusby and raised in New Liberty and Owenton, KY. He became a locomotive train engineer and was a resident of Bay City since 1990 and retired from the Celanese Plant in Bay City, TX.

He is survived by his wife of 15 years: Karon Lusby; 2 daughters: Tammy Biesel of St. Bernard, OH and Alice Jo Kelly of New Liberty, KY; by 5 grandchildren: Mike Moore, Nicole Moore, Emmitt Biesel, Kaelin Biesel and Kyle McMurray, all of St. Bernard, OH; and by 5 great-grandchildren.

At the age of 49, Robert was reunited with his sister: Mary Francis Deering of Margale, FL; a brother: Merritt Scott Allen of Peducah, KY; his aunts and uncles: Eula J. & Roy Freeman, Nellie & Charlie Bugg; and numerous cousins, including Mildred Pugh, all of Harrodsburg, KY. He was preceded in death by his parents, his adoptive parents, and by a brother: Bobby Allen.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, September 8, 2007, at the Abundant Life Fellowship Church of Bay City, TX with Rev. Greg McMullin officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery in Bay City. Pallbearers will be Steve Malone, Fuzzy Talasek, Jim Breazeale, Avery Campbell, Tino Torres, Sr., Watts Vaughan, and Michael Zavala.
