Gus Leroy Hoffman, 83, of Markham passed away June 27, 2013. He was born September 14, 1929 in Markham, TX to the late Guss Hoffman and Selma Schulze Hoffman. He worked for Bay City ISD for many years and the El Campo Post Office.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Lou Hoffman; daughters Beverly Ann Cline (Butch) of Hankamer, TX, Gretchen Leatherwood (Jim) of Markham and Sandy Frick (Bubba) of Markham; son Robert Gus Hoffman (Pam) of Markham; brother Wilbur Lee Hoffman of Markham; aunt Leona Schulze of Markham; grandchildren Casey Lee Frick, Cody Robert Frick, Jimmy Ray Leatherwood and Renee Bohuslar and great grandchildren Taylor & Allie Bohuslar.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 5PM until 7PM Friday at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 10:000 AM Saturday, June 29, 2013 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Rev. Damon Rambo officiating. Interment will follow at Hawley Cemetery in Blessing. Pallbearers will be Bubba Frick, Jim Leatherwood, Jimmy Ray Leatherwood, Butch Cline, Cody Frick, G. W.
