Guadalupe "Lupe" Ramirez, 68 of Bay City, passed away May 25, 2022. She was born December 11, 1953 New Gulf, TX to Juan Salazar and Isabel Chavez Salazar.

She loved to gamble in Louisiana and Las Vegas, she enjoyed cooking and spending with time family especially during the holidays, she also loved to listen to and dance to Spanish music, she was deeply devoted to the catholic faith, most of all she loved all her brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews as well as her children and she cared for her parents and brothers and sisters when they were sick and hurt deeply when they passed away.

Along with her parents, Lupe is preceded in death by husband, Ernest Lopez Ramirez; son Christopher Ramirez; sisters Mary Lou Ramirez and Teresa S. Cantu and brothers Luis Salazar, John Salazar and Robert Salazar. She is survived by daughter Anna Ramirez; sons Michael Martinez (Kathy), Mark Ramirez, Brian Ramirez, Ernest Ramirez, Jr. and many nieces and nephew whom she loved dearly.

The Rosary will be recited 9:30 am Friday, June 3, 2022 at our Lady of
Guadalupe Catholic Church, followed by Mass at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery. Pallbearers are Jason Salazar, Joe Salazar, Juan Cantu, Jr., Roberto Cantu, Gene Castellano, Terry Joe Valdez, Sr., Frankie Saldana and Darrick Mendoza. Honorary pallbearers are Juan Cantu, Sr. and Brian Ramirez.
