Gregoria Fernandez Rivera Hernandez, 70, of Bay City Passed away Thursday, February 2, 2006 in Sugar Land, TX. She was born January 4, 1936 to the late Candelario & Baldomera Fernandez Rivera in Burr, TX. She was a 45 year resident of Bay City, a retired Pay Roll Clerk from Bay City I.S.D. and a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

Survivors include daughter & son-law: Marina & Camilo Reyes of Bay City; son: Ramon Hernandez, III of Bay City; 2 sisters: Ramona Ramirez and Jane Perez both of Wharton; 3 grandchildren: Natalie Hernandez, Ramon Hernandez IV, and Marisa Reyes. Mrs. Hernandez was preceded in death by her husband: Ramon S. Hernandez, Jr. in May of 2004; a brother: Tito Rivera; and a grandson: Michael Hernandez.

A Rosary will be held 8:00 PM Saturday, February 4, 2006 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, February 5, 2006 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Rev. Gerry Cernoch officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Nat Bustos, Steven Garcia, Leroy Lopez, Caesar Morales, Frankie Trevino, and Roland Zarate.
