Gregg W. Bishop, 49, of Bay City passed away November 26, 2006. He was born July 28, 1957 in Oxnard, California to Jewel Douglas and Vyrel Dean Riffe Bishop. He was a member of the Bay City Baptist Church; a veteran of the Gulf War; and worked as warehouse supervisor for Johnson Supply in Clute, TX.

Survivors include wife Patsy Tindell Bishop of Bay City; mother and step-father Vyrel & Raymond Poston of Bay City; step-daughters Tammy Smith or Arkansas, Pam Jackson of Alabama, & Amy Mateo of Baytown; sisters Wilma Louise Rogers of Oxnard, CA, Gwyndolyn Sue Hess of Yucca Valley, CA & Cynthia Mae Bullington of Bay City; brother Glen Edgar Bishop of Shreveport, LA and 7 step-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Rev. George Brandon & Rev. Lee Watson officiating. Interment will follow at the Houston National Cemetery in Houston, TX. Pallbearers include Eric Smith, Charlie Johnson, Brent Ethington, Paul Cleveland, Don Noski, Carlos Mateo, Buddy Biggersraff, & Willie Stredic. Arrangements with Taylor Bros. Funeral Home in Bay City.
