His family is proud of his service as a U.S. Marine.
Grant was a member of Northside Chapel in Bay City where he enjoyed singing in the choir and organizing the church's annual golf tournament.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of thirty-eight years, Ruth Mae Heidrich Miller. His brothers Paul, Lawrence, Dale, Don, Roger, and Roscoe Miller, daughter-in-law Danielle Jones and son-in-law Kenneth Polka also preceded him in death.
