Grace M. Gonzalez, 69, of Baytown, TX passed away peacefully on June 19, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on November 2, 1955 in Bay City, TX to the late Salvador Morales and Soila Elizalde Morales.  Grace dedicated her life to creating a warm and nurturing home for her husband of 48 years, Raymond, and their two children and grandchildren.

Grace was a woman of kindness, strength, and unwavering love. She found joy in life's simple moments, especially those shared with family and friends. Whether tending to her plants and flowers or preparing a home-cooked meal, Grace expressed her love through thoughtful gestures. Her kitchen was often the heart of her home, where many cherished memories were created around her table.

In addition to caring for her own family, Grace lovingly watched and cared for children in her home for over 25 years. To the many children and families she touched, she was affectionately known as "Momma Grace" or "Gigi," and she will be fondly remembered for her gentle spirit and nurturing heart.

In her spare time, Grace enjoyed shopping, and spending long conversations on the phone with her friends and family. Of all the joys in her life, none compared to the time she spent with her beloved grandchildren, Judson and Ellie, who were the light of her life.

Grace continued to be a fighter until her last breath. A longtime breast cancer survivor, she faced each challenge with courage, compassion, and unwavering faith in the Lord. Her warmth, generosity, and deep love for her family will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Survivors include her husband Raymond Gonzalez; son Michael Gonzalez (Diana Gonzalez); daughter Kristi Tucker (Jared Tucker); brothers Abel Morales, Michael Morales (Lisa Morales), Roland Morales and Martin Morales; sister Katy Morales (Frankie Morales); and grandchildren Judson Levi Tucker and Ellie Grace Tucker.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM Thursday, June 26, 2025 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM Friday, June 27, 2025 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Rev. Gabriel Espinosa officiating. Entombment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck. Serving as Pallbearers will be Sean Morales, Trey Morales, Keith Morales, Phillip Morales, Levi Morales and Lance Morales. Honorary Pallbearers are Mathew Morales and Garrett Morales.
