Gloria C. Taylor, 88, of Bay City passed away Friday, December 11, 2015. She was born February 25, 1927 in Sikes, Louisiana to the late Noah & Linnie Willis Fordham. Gloria was an avid gardener, loved to cook for her family, and was a devoted wife, mother, & caregiver for her husband James in his later years.

She is survived by her 2 sons: Michael James Taylor and Stephen Lee Taylor; 5 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren. Gloria was preceded in death by her parents; husband: James Collier Taylor in 2010; son: Donald Edward Taylor in 1981; and 5 siblings: Woodrow Fordham, Hazel Weakley, Margie May, Clotine Wyatt, and Lou Fordham.

The funeral service will be 1:00 PM Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Dr. Mike Zimmerman officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or The American Cancer Society.
