Glenn Wade "Skipper" Odom, 44 of Houston, passed away December 13, 2005. He was born July 25, 1961 in Ganado to Robbins Paschail Odom and Marcelle Ryman Odom.

Glenn was an Instructional Specialist at Green Valley Elementary School in Galena Park I.S.D. He was a graduate from Bay City High School, Howard Payne University, and received his Masters degree in Administration from Sam Houston State University. Glenn had worked for 20 years at Green Valley School. He will be greatly missed by his fellow teachers, administrators, and especially by the students.

He is survived by his parents: Robbins Paschail & Marcelle Ryman Odom; brother: Robbin Gerald Odom & wife Betty of Wadsworth; Nieces and Nephews: Jennifer and Jeff Willard of Plano, Charlotte and Michael Allgaier of Markham, Christopher and Charlotte Norton of Bay City, Daniel and Mary Norton of Arlington, and Rebecca Odom of Wadsworth. He is also survived by his very good friend John Brassfield of Houston, TX. Glenn was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Ann Norton.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, December 16, 2005 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Michael Zimmerman officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery in Bay City, TX. Pallbearers will be Christopher and, Daniel Norton, Kenny Ryman, Michael Allgaier, Wayne Michael, and Wayne Moore.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ministries of the First Baptist Church of Bay City.
