Glen Alan King, 49, of Bay City passed away July 6, 2008. He was born November 8, 1958 in Kingsville, TX to Carl A. and Bettye Jones King. He was a Baptist.

He is survived by parents Carl A. & LaVerne King of Palacios; sister Melodie Herzog & husband Billy; brother Carl L. King & wife Debra all of Bay City; step-brothers Rocky Flewellen of Collegeport and Brian Flewellen & wife Melissa of Allen; nieces Brittney & Macy Herzog of Bay City; aunt Larrie Gainey & husband Dave of Angleton and uncle Howard L. King, Jr. of Devine. He was preceded in death by his mother, grandparents Robert & Dorothy Jones & Howard & Pauline King.

The family will receive friends & relatives from 6pm to 8pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Chapel with Dr. Mike Zimmerman officiating. Interment will follow at Hawley Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Billy Herzog, Chad Herzog, Ricky Lyle, and Steve Wilson.
