Gladys Mae Withrow, 93, of Bay City passed away January 18, 2019. She was born April 10, 1925 in Sublime, Texas to the late Fritz Cordes and Frances Kartman Cordes.

She worked for many years at J.C. Penney and retired from Bealls. She was a member of the VFW Post 2438 Ladies Auxiliary and enjoyed her VFW family.

Her husband Dale Withrow preceded her in death after 65 years of marriage.

Survivors include daughters Betty Burns & husband Jim and Frances Elder & husband Steve; brothers Oliver Cordes and Bill Cordes; grandchildren Bryan Long, Charles Clark, Steve Cashion & wife Kim, Tina Keen & husband Troy, Stephanie Long, Deenae Eastwood & husband Ron, Alisha Burns and Alise Burns; great grandchildren Cullen Cashion, Leighton Keen, Meagan Griffith & husband Michael, Truett Eastwood, Tate Bluda and Wade Bluda; great-great grandchild Walker Keen Griffith and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday with Rev. Tom Quirk officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vlecfk. Pallbearers will be Steve Cashion, Troy Keen, Leighton Keen, Cullen Cashion, Bryan Long and Charles Clark. Keith Wayne Hatton will serve as honorary pallbearer.
