Gladys Elizabeth Hennessey Hoffman, 88, of Bay City passed away October 30, 2013. She was born September 1, 1925 in Highlands, NJ to the late Thomas Hennessey & Frances Mount Hennessey. She was a retired program analyst for the Air Assault and Special Missions AV Weapon Systems (Harrier) program executive office. She was known as the "Grandma" of the AV-8B Plus Harrier Wing of the US Navy.

She was preceded in death by her husband Leslie J. Hoffman and sons John L. Hoffman and Robert E. Hoffman. Survivors include sons Paul Hoffman and Michael Hoffman, 6 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 5pm until 7pm Friday at the funeral home. Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, November 2, 2013 at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck with Deacon Larry Koether officiating.
