Gladys Faye Findley, 81, of Sugar Valley passed away October 22, 2006. She was born April 13, 1925 in Hagansport, Texas to William Henry Clifford and Jessie Gertrude Henry Joice. She was a longtime resident of Matagorda County and a member of the Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband Jesse Findley of Sugar Valley; daughters Linda Townsend & husband Charles of Bay City, Peggy Black and Husband Joe of Corpus Christi & Patty Meador of Ganado; sons Larry Findley of Sugar Valley & Jerry Findley & wife Sheila of Bay City; grandchildren Jason Findley, Angel Miller, Donna Hubbard, Eric Dornak, Candace Seidel, Robin Haring, Christopher Townsend, Darcy Rieff, Rick Gray, Amanda Clark, Jeremy Findley, Isaac Findley, Crystal Harris, Bubba Meador & Tiffany Ross and seventeen great grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 24, 2006 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Rev. Harley Savage officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck. Pallbearers include Jeremy Findley, Isaac Findley, Bubba Meador, Eric Dornak, Christopher Townsend, Sonny Meador, Jason Findley, Clint Hatchett, and Rick Gray.
