Obituary
Gilbert Burns Stovall, Jr., 89, of Bay City passed away Oct. 3, 2008. He was born Jan. 13, 1919 in Batson, TX to the late Gilbert B. Stovall, Sr. & Emma Shaw Stovall
He served in the US Army during WWII and worked for Exxon for many years.
His wife Barbara Stovall, sons Gilbert Wayne Stovall & Douglas Claude Miller and granddaughter Shana Duke preceded him in death. Survivors include daughter Brenda Law of Bay City; sons Charles Miller & wife Melissa of Wharton and Joe Miller and life partner Bob Richardson of Houston; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends and relatives from 6pm to 8pm Sunday at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Monday, Oct. 6, 2008 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Rev. Maurice Marrow officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gilbert Law, Tyson Hardy Miller, Felton Law, Michael Quinn, Bryan Mason & Duane Eisel.
