Gerald Leroy Streams, 85, passed away December 14, 2022.  He was born August 22, 1937 in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania to the late William Guy Streams and Esther Rilling Streams.

Gerald was a long time contractor in Matagorda County, operating Streams Construction for many years with his sons.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a great grandchild Presley DeBord.

Survivors include his wife Rose M. Streams; daughter Jennifer M. Childers (Ben); sons Barry L. Streams (Elizabeth), Randy L. Streams (Doris) and Brian L. Streams (Millie); brothers Fred, Wilbur, Clifford and Gary Streams; grandchildren Kristan Debord (Jacob), Kyle Streams (Myriah), Barrett Streams (Ashtin), Tyler Harris and Amanda Champion and great grandchildren Mason Streams, Clint Streams, Morgan DeBord, Ridlee DeBord and Emma Champion.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM Thursday, December 22, 2022 at the Palacios Funeral Home.  Graveside services will follow at 12:00 Noon at Hawley Cemetery with Chris Webber officiating.
