Gerald Clairn Rawstern, 73, of Bay City passed away June 29, 2022.  He was born September 21, 1948 in Medford, Oregon to the late Clairn Harold Rawstern and Elsie Freda Kingsley Rawstern.

He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam war and served faithfully in his Computer Engineering career until he retired.

Gerald was preceded in death by his siblings Rosemary Rawstern (Alan), and Freda May (Bill). Survivors include his wife, L. Elaine Smith Rawstern; daughters Kimberly Riggs (Timothy) and Michelle Crumbaker; brother Dan Rawstern; grandchildren Zachary Sparks (Shea), Jordan Sparks, Jillian Riggs, Alexander Crumbaker and Harrison Crumbaker and great-grandchildren Camryn, Lydia and Nolan Lesher.

Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at Nichols Street Church of Christ; 1200 Nichols St.; Bay City, TX 77414.   Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM with Chris Webber officiating.  Interment will be at 1:30 PM Thursday, July 7, 2022 at the Houston National Cemetery.
