Georgie Etta Dornak, 86, passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2009 in El Campo, TX. She was born December 16, 1922 in Hungerford to William M. Bucek and Lydia Wasek Bucek. She was a lifelong resident of Matagorda County; she was a graduate of Markham High School and Smalleys Business College in Houston. Georgie was a former employee of Long Theaters in Bay City, a former 4-H Leader in Matagorda County and member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Blessing.

She is survived by her daughter: Darla Tobeck & husband Fred of Houston; her sons: Dr. Douglas W. Dornak, DVM and wife Kathryn of El Campo and Dennis Dornak and wife Janet of El Campo; by her sisters-in-law: Ella Bucek of Victoria and Nora Bucek of Bay City; and by 6 grandchildren: Ryan and Sarah Dornak, Wade and Ross Dornak, and John and Robert Tobeck. She was preceded in death by her husband: Johnnie George Dornak; her parents: William M. and Lydia Bucek; by sisters: Lottie Kocian and Evelyn Smith; and her brothers: Wilton Bucek and Leonard Bucek.

Rosary and funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, January 16, 2009 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Rev. Gerry Cernoch officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck. Pallbearers will be Dennis Dornak, Douglas Dornak, Wade Dornak, Ryan Dornak, Ross Dornak, and J. W. Bucek.
