George Perez, 76, of Bay City, Texas, passed away Monday, March 14, 2022 in Sugarland, Texas. He was born on May 13, 1945 in Bay City to the late Pedro and Frances Perez.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Val Perez Valdez, Gloria Perez, and Juanita Perez; brothers, Joe Angel Perez, and Jesse Perez; grandchildren, Joey Campos, and Patrick Rios. He is survived by his wife, Yolanda Perez; daughters, Kathryn Perez and Stephanie Perez; sons, Adam Perez, Larry Perez, and Jesse Perez; sisters, Crescencia P. Rodriguez, Frances Perez, and Jessica Perez DeLa Rosa; brother, Pete Perez, Jr.; grandchildren, Rick Perez, Jessica Perez, Cecily Michelle Perez, Alicia Perez, Lisa Campos, Jessica Kay Rios, and David Lee Rios; and 21 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends and relatives for visitation at 9:00am Friday, March 18, 2022 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Bay City, Texas. The Holy Rosary will begin at 9:30am with Mass beginning at 10:00am with Father Gabriel Espinosa officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery in Bay City. Pallbearers for George will be Rick Perez, Jesse Perez, Eric Cervantes, Joey Cervantes, Johnny Cervantes, and Mason Trevino.
